The 7th house dictates the longevity and harmony of a marriage. To determine the risk of divorce, an astrologer analyzes three things: the 7th house itself, the planet that rules the 7th house, and Venus (the universal significator of marriage).

If all three of these pillars are heavily "afflicted" (damaged by aggressive planets), the mathematical probability of a single, lifelong marriage is extremely low.

#### 1. The Mars Factor (Violent Separation) Mars represents war, ego, and sharp cuts.
