The wild, untamable cosmic philosopher. Sagittarius is ruled heavily by Jupiter, the planet of extreme expansion, profound luck, and massive higher learning. A Sagittarius is fundamentally allergic to restriction. They are on a lifelong, chaotic crusade for absolute truth. They are the wanderers, the professors, the philosophers, and the brutally honest truth-tellers. Psychologically, Sagittarius lives strictly in the future. They are tremendously optimistic, always believing the next adventure will solve their internal emptiness. Their shadow self is extremely reckless, highly tactless, and massively commitment-phobic. A typical Sagittarius runs violently away from any emotional heaviness, preferring to pack a bag and move to a new country rather than having a difficult emotional conversation. They frequently hurt people severely with their blunt honesty, incorrectly labeling their extreme lack of tact as "authenticity."
A Sagittarius treats romance as an exploration. They absolutely despise clingy, emotionally demanding partners. To keep a Sagittarius fiercely in love, you must essentially act like you do not need them at all. You must give them total physical freedom. The moment you text them "Where are you?", they will metaphorically shoot an arrow and completely disappear. However, if you travel with them and match their intellectual curiosity, they are incredibly fun, vibrant, and wildly passionate lovers.
They absolutely require massive physical freedom. The quickest way to kill a Sagittarius is to put them in a gray cubicle from 9 to 5. They excel globally as travel writers, diplomats, college professors, and entrepreneurs. They are phenomenal at seeing the massive big picture but absolutely terrible at managing the boring, microscopic physical details.
To understand that running away is not the same thing as freedom. A Sagittarius must eventually learn to stand totally still and face their own internal emotional shadow.
